Luke — Rudd
I’ve been meaning to pick up Double Fine’s post-apocalyptic action roguelite Rad for a while now, but the game is at an all-time low of 85% off, giving me a week of kills before going back to Monster Hunter. Is required. Is there a better time than now to step up for Sunbreak’s expansion? I found myself really enjoying the way I completely blended in already. Compared to similar games, it doesn’t hurt that upgrades take the form of dramatic mutations that open the door to a lot of creativity, and Double Fine is notoriously strong on that front. So far, I’ve sprouted tails that spit out mutant baby minions to hunt down enemies, grow wings to quickly move away from danger, reach distant areas, and expand my brain to Bursting outside the skull, upgraded to offer mind control, weaker enemies, and many other things…it rampages rapidly, with more and more crazy options with every good run. appears to be unlocked to .
Given the size of the map, Rad often feels more like a traditional action RPG than the likes of Hades or Curse of the Dead Gods, despite sharing an isometric perspective. One of the first complaints I had was that it felt a bit on the slow side, but seeing how the movement worked and how chaotic some of the later stages were, I realized that this It’s getting warmer. It’s useful for avoiding running headlong into hazards and enemies, but moving the foliage increases your speed when moving over it, making more thorough exploration and backtracking considerably faster. It’s an elegant solution that I haven’t seen before. Having only completed his 13th on TA from over 3,000 tracked players, Rad’s track record looks pretty grim, but we’ll try!

Sean — Life is Strange: True Colors – Ultimate Edition
If you didn’t play Life is Strange: True Colors when it was on Game Pass (prank, prank, slap your wrist!), fear not. This great narrative adventure game is now included in Surprise 50%. Off Xbox Sale. All three of his editions of the game are offered, but they include True Colors, the Wavelengths expansion, some additional outfits, Life is Strange Remastered, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered, so we recommend the Ultimate Edition. We recommend getting it. All for $39.99/£32.49/€39.99. It’s a pretty good deal and gives you all the Life is Strange you need—yes, never mind LiS 2. Moments that other games have. True Colors follows the story of Alex Chen, who has the supernatural ability to experience and manipulate the emotions of others. When her brother dies, she must use her powers to uncover her truths hidden deep within the small town and its communities. From the start, I was completely immersed in Alex’s story, loving exploring the sleepy mountain town (which looks gorgeous in Series X) and meeting the colorful cast of characters. If you love games, this is definitely for you.
Life is Strange: True Colors – Ultimate Edition
Alex Chen must embrace the power of empathy to uncover the truth about his brother’s death. Ultimate Edition includes Life is Strange: True Colors Deluxe Edition, Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange: Before the Storm Remastered.
Tom — Far Cry 6
If you’re one of the 90% of players who said they won’t sign up for Ubisoft+ and you haven’t played it yet, I highly recommend purchasing Far Cry 6 on this sale. We’re assuming you enjoy a massive open world where you’ll need to spend time clearing maps such as camps and missions.Far Cry 6 is set in the fictional country of Yara. The setting is beautiful, the animals are wild, but this country is ruled under the fist of a dictator. As guerrilla fighters, we seek to break the chains of tyranny that bind the Yaran people. I generally enjoy Ubisoft’s games and the much anticipated map-clearing activities that come with them, and always have when it comes to the Far Cry series. It may not be for everyone, but it’s my choice and I’m sticking with it! Spend hours killing bad guys, being attacked by toothy predators, or just grabbing it from your backpack. If you like shooting missiles and such, you can get the basic version of Far Cry 6 for $14.99/£14.99/€17.49. Worth taking advantage of. Now that I have finished writing this, I am reminded that I still have to finish. See you at Yarra, friends!
