The 2022 Xbox Countdown Sale has begun. If you’re planning on buying a few discounted Xbox games, don’t forget to activate the new Countdown Sale Punch Card to earn Microsoft Rewards points.
This year’s Xbox Countdown Sale is massive, with nearly 1,000 discounts on Xbox games, DLC expansions, bundles, and more. For something a little sweeter, a new Countdown Sale Punch Card is rolling out in the Microsoft Rewards app, offering a hefty amount of Microsoft Rewards points to purchase items included in the sale.
Earn 2,500 Reward Points with Countdown Sale 2022 Punch Cards
You can find the new punch cards in the Microsoft Rewards app on your Xbox console. From now until 2nd January 2023, you can earn up to 2,500 Microsoft Rewards points when you spend ÂŁ45 (or your local equivalent) on items included in the Xbox Countdown Sale. Microsoft says this is only valid for digital purchases made on Xbox, Windows, or from the online Microsoft Store.
To activate your punch card, you’ll first need to find it in the Microsoft Rewards app on your Xbox. Then you have to select and complete the ‘Countdown Sale Game’ and ‘Countdown Sale Movie’ options. Once they’re done, countdown sale purchases add up to the ÂŁ45 required to earn 2,500 Microsoft Rewards points.
2,500 points is worth a few pounds per dollar, not the biggest incentive in the world, but better than nothing.
