==== Wait, what is this? ====
Well, a real shooter game would play like this:
An endlessly looping high score game with multiple game modes.
This is not a normal shooter and the level structure is different from Ikaruga or Dodonpachi or most shooters.
Each of the 3 game modes has *1 level*, but it keeps changing every loop.
The crazy part is that *game speed* increases with every level you beat. It gets pretty hard in loop 5, and incredibly hard in loop 8.
To help with that, there’s a limited-edition power-up called “Time Pulse”. Temporarily slows down time, and shooting enemy bullets during this time turns them into cash. And every time you destroy that many bullets, you get a new time pulse!
Once you understand the flow of the loop, you’ll learn when it’s best to use time pulses, and you can begin to understand how to chain them together to earn more and progress further.
The “Surprise” game mode is like a “roguelike” where the level layout changes each time you play. There are also many power-ups available in this mode, making it fun to keep trying.
