Your adventure in Aionios will end sooner than you think. Nintendo today announced that Future Redeemed, his fourth and final DLC for the Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass, will be available for download on his April 25th.
Set before the events of Xenoblade Chronicles 3 (rated 9 out of 10 by Pure Nintendo), Future Redeemed features new and familiar characters in an original story scenario that connects all three installments of the Xenoblade Chronicles series. Featured. Shulk? Rex? They’re all grown up and ready to fight with new combat mechanics like Unity Combo, where two characters can attack together.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3, Aionios is the backdrop for an endless war between two rival nations, Keves and Agnus. Through a chance encounter, a rival nation, his group of six soldiers decide to put aside their mutual differences and work together to uncover a new threat. Players can join Noah, Mio, and their friends across epic landscapes, battle ferocious creatures, and fight to break the endless cycle of violence that binds their homeland.
As with previous Xenoblade titles, battles begin with directly facing the enemy on the field. Players control Noah’s party of six and can meet additional characters who can join the party as support characters during the adventure. to Their classes affect how characters fight, and they use powerful abilities called Arts to aim for victory. Each of the specific tag team pairs within the party can also utilize the Interlink System to combine into a giant form called Ouroboros.
Xenoblade Chronicles fans have even better news. The release date for the previously announced Pyra + Mythra 2-pack amiibo figure is now his July 21st. Nintendo also announced how it will work with the XC3 (you know, when it comes time for that new game +).
By scanning the Pyra amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, players can change the appearance of Noah’s Swordfighter class sword to match Pyra’s Aegis Sword. Scanning Mythra amiibo in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 matches Noah’s Swordfighter class sword to Mythra’s Aegis Sword. The Aegis Sword weapon skin will be available to all players in a future patch if the conditions are met.
