If you’re desperate to get your hands on Optimus Prime and aren’t satisfied with the movement speed of the Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 Battle Pass, it might be time to try something other than Battle Royale. yeah. Get the XP hotfix. No, I’m not talking about “save the world”. I’m talking creative.
Before you scoff, listen to this. If you know what to do, you can grind about 10 total levels of XP per day in Creative at the moment. This is all thanks to some recent changes to the mod. It won’t necessarily happen anytime soon, but if you’ve run out of quests to do in Battle Royale, or just don’t want to stress out, find some creative maps to try. You should be able to level up easily. Creative mode is faster than Battle Royale.
So here’s the deal. Two very important things happened in creative mode last season. Epic has increased the daily XP cap to roughly 5 XP worth of Battle Pass levels, and another has introduced the Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN). Prior to the studio’s new cap, the daily amount of XP earned from creatives was inconsistent. Some days I got 3 or 4 levels, some days I got 1 or 2. It probably depends on how much. Overall creative time — The more XP you earn from creative, the more likely your game is to slow down over time. But now, it seems that regardless of how often you play, you’ll get this set amount of XP fairly consistently every day.
Meanwhile, when UEFN launched in March, it didn’t offer a way for creators to award XP to players. Of course, Epic wanted people to actually play his new UEFN map, and hacked a way to give players his XP depending on how much time they spent on the UEFN map. However, you cannot earn XP while playing. Sometime after the session ends, perhaps hours later, the game will award the accumulated XP. So don’t worry if you don’t see it. Gain in UEFN map. All his UEFN maps work this way now, so they should all be on par when it comes to gaining XP.
UEFN’s XP comes from that sort of bootstrapping method and doesn’t follow the same rules as XP on the Creative 1.0 map, so it has a different cap. So you get about 5 levels per day playing the 1.0 map, and 5 more per day from the UEFN map. This equates to a total of 10 creative levels per day. This is far beyond what was previously possible. This will probably change once UEFN gets XP tools for creators, but for now, get your XP while it’s hot.
Please note here: This is not a very quick process. How quickly you gain XP from a 1.0 map depends on how much XP the author put in (hint: if the map is popular, it will almost certainly give you good XP). The UEFN map takes hours to reach these five. level. Luckily, UEFN XP’s AFK protection isn’t all that sophisticated. You can load it into a map, throw a rubber band on your controller’s stick, and let it run for a while if you want. Go back and logout and wait for the game to give you the level.
It’s a win or a win — Epic gets playtime numbers and we get Battle Pass cosmetics a little earlier.again many Faster, really.
