If you’re a fan of amiibo, and if you’re not, you’ll be happy to know that Nintendo has lined up several models to release in the new year. It goes on sale and everything starts right away.
The news arrived via Nintendo last week. If you missed it, here’s what we can expect.
These latest amiibo belong to the Super Smash Bros. series toy model and bring two DLC fighters, Kazuya and Sephiroth. Tekken fans will instantly recognize Kazuya Mishima from Bandai Namco’s famous fighting series. He will appear in 2021 in Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2DLC.
Dark Sephiroth, on the other hand, appears in Final Fantasy VII. He made his debut in 1997 as the villain of the protagonist Cloud in the RPG series. Fighter’s Pass Vol. 2 came to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and joined the team in 2020.
Kazuya and Sephiroth are now available for pre-order ahead of their January 13th release.
But wait. If that’s not enough amiibo for you, the good news is that in 2023, Xenoblade’s Pyra and Mythra are set to join the long list of characters, with two more announced. It certainly gives us some fun.
