Note: Users who overclock their PS5 controllers do so at their own risk. I’ve personally done overclocking many times, and there’s always a risk when installing new firmware and tweaking settings.
How to overclock a PS5 controller
To overclock a PS5 controller, DualSense owners should:
- Update your PS5 controller to the latest firmware.
- Use your PC to download the latest PS5 controller firmware updater from the official website. Here.
- Run the updater and follow the instructions until your PS5 controller is fully updated.
- Download and install overclocking software.
- For overclocking software, visit LordOfMice’s Github page.
- click Herethen Code, then Download Zip.
- Extract the zip file to your desktop, then extract the “hidusbf” zip file.
- Execute “Setup.exe” in the unzipped “hidusbf” folder.
- Overlock the polling rate of your PS5 controller.
- With your PS5 controller connected to your PC, from the drop-down menu[すべて]Choose.
- Select the device that has “Wireless Controller” in the “Child Name” section.
- In the lower left drop-down menu, select a polling rate of up to 8,000.
- Click Install Service to proceed.
