To quote the mod author, “Vvardenfell has been removed because it can’t work”.
But calling this meme mod a day sick wasn’t enough. I needed to experience Morrowind without Morrowind. I had to feel it in my bones. I dropped the .esp into my Data Files folder like any other mod and booted into production from GOG so I could use the character I created early in the pandemic.

Well yeah dummies! The entire reason I’m here is that I can’t find her DELETED REGION in Cell Wilderness Road. unfortunately,[はい]If you click , the same popup will appear again. I initially thought I could do this with cookie clicker, but was it shuffling a list of all deleted cells? But no dice.
I couldn’t figure out how to get Morrowind Removed to work with the original game. I didn’t even disable other mods or mess with the very ancient load order. Morrowind Mod Manager (opens in new tab)but I was lucky—I also have a darling OpenMW (opens in new tab) I have the source port installed, and while I didn’t get to see Morrowindless Morrowind and 1 million hours of Dark Elf Nightblade, I did get a glimpse of this sleazy Breton I rolled a year or so ago.

My heart was pounding at first — I smoothly entered the Mages Guild of Balmora. give what! Morrowind is still here! However, I realized that interior cells like this were likely left in isolation from the now-deleted Overworld, and I needed to see what happens when I exit the building.
I walked out the front door and bam, I was trapped at the bottom of a vast and unfathomable sea! The water was so deep that I used up my breath meter and started taking damage before I even surfaced.the above effect is good desolate and isolatebut if you swim long enough, you’ll reach Solstheim.

Morrowind Removed Unfortunately, it’s still in the Bloodmoon and Tribunal content, but thankfully, court (opens in new tab) and Solstheim Eraser (opens in new tab), creating a sort of classic RPG sensory deprivation tank. Well, wait for the real slow burn punchline of this mod: forget you installed it, months or years from now he craves Morrowind, and when you boot he’s shocked by this stifling purgatory.
