With the completion of Gran Turismo World Series 2022 Online Season 1, attention is focused on top-ranked players preparing for several flagship events available online. There are many actions that will appear in Gran Turismo 7 in the next two weeks.
The first is Round 1 of the World Series. Top representatives from 12 major manufacturers will be competing in the Manufacturers Cup on Saturday, July 23rd at 6:00 AM PDT / 2:00 pm BST. The next day, on Sunday, July 24th, at 6:00 am PDT / 2:00 pm BST, you can see the 16 major players of the 2021 Nations Cup in action.
The action will continue next weekend, but this time there will be a face-to-face live event. The World Series Showdown brings together top racers from around the world at the spectacular Red Bull Hangar-7 in Salzburg, Austria. The first gathering of Gran Turismo players since the World Tour event in Sydney in early 2020 will be livestreamed and 12 teams of three drivers will be on Saturday, July 30th at 12:00 pm PDT / 8:00 pm BST. Fight in the Manufacturers Cup. 32 racers aiming for the glory of the Nations Cup at 12:00 pm PDT / 8:00 pm BST on Sunday, July 31st.
Last year’s Manufacturers Cup Champion Team Toyota looked strong in the online series, but 2019 Champion Subaru has a competitive racer aiming to regain the top spot in the next race. Meanwhile, the series welcomes Round 1 broadcasts and the rookie Genesis represented by Salzburg.
In the Nations Cup, a well-established 2021 star will face the fastest racer of Online Season 1 in Salzburg. The stakes are high as they are competing for the spot in the next two World Series rounds and the World Finals in Monaco in November. The 2021 champion Valerio Gallo of Italy will be the man they all want to win.
