New Genesis players can explore PSO2 content with their characters by accessing an in-game device and teleporting back to the original world at will. New Genesis: Fight and explore solo or with friends

Finally, areas of New Genesis are segregated into blocks and rooms, so you can teleport to sectors or city blocks where your friends are, or create private rooms that only you and your friends can access. A maximum of 32 people can participate in a Sector, and a maximum of 8 in a Battle Sector.
Dynamic interactions and quests in NGS
There are quests available from NPCs in the three major cities, but much of the experience players gain in NGS comes from the dynamic interactions that occur on the field. Emergency trials occur frequently and may require defending downed aircraft against hordes of enemies, destroying powerful enemies with other players, or other scenarios.
