The first is a parry-focused approach, Sekiro, but more forgiving. This mechanic encourages players to experiment with impunity, is accurate, and rewards players for combining parries with attacks, key abilities, and dodges. The second mechanism is the color matching system. You can switch between blue and orange, and enemies as well. To parry, you have to match their colors. To create this unique combat system, we prioritized player feedback by inviting players to test the game from the rough prototype stage. Through iterations and discussions with players throughout the making of the game, we were able to evolve the combat system to its maximum potential, resulting in a challenging and immersive experience that players will enjoy.
