Total War: Warhammer 3 has a new DLC, Forge of the Chaos Dwarfs, and with the release of that paid DLC comes a “free LC” for everyone. This time it’s Ulrika Magdova, the legendary hero of the Kislev faction and the Imperial faction.

Ulrika can be obtained by the Kislev or Empire factions in either the Realm of Chaos or Immortal Empires campaigns.First you need to do Reach lord rank 11and then a quest called Prairie Massacre appear. I had the quest pop on save, but it took about 100 turns into the Kislev campaign, which already has one level 39 lord.

Well worth it. Ulrika is a hybrid/melee combatant who can cast spells, increase her recruit rank, and has two unique items, unique attachments, and unique skills her line. You can use her as an independent agent outside the military, but that’s not where she shines. Her unique skills come with buffs that apply to everyone in the military she joins. , reduces wear and increases fire resistance and spell resistance.
She’s also a strong fighter, using one of her items, the Silver Dagger, to add magical attack, dealing 25% base and armor-piercing weapon damage for 32 seconds. She also has access to spells from Shadow Lore. This is enhanced by Brad her Shard, which increases her spell proficiency each time she kills. Her aide, Gabriella von Nachterfen, increases Winds of Magic’s power reserve by 5 each turn.
Still, Ulrika is better suited to use as a warrior than a spellcaster, even though she gets a horse as a mount instead of the war bears the other Kislevites fight.
