Electronic Arts and developer Motive Studio dead space remake ps5 You can directly compare performance and quality graphics settings. And by quality, I mean PS5’s resolution mode, of course. Given the lack of detail in recent posts about graphics modes like PS5’s Hogwarts Legacy, this update is much appreciated.
Dead Space Remake Performance and PS5 Resolution Modes
as announced through Tweet The official Dead Space Twitter account compares the performance and resolution modes of the upcoming remakes.
- Resolution Mode: 30 FPS at 4K (UHD) resolution with ray tracing
- Performance Mode: 60 FPS at 2K (QHD) resolution, no ray tracing
The frame rate and resolution trade-off is paired with whether or not ray tracing is enabled, so this can make choosing the right settings a bit harder for PS5 owners. Given that every frame counts in this action-horror shooter, unless you’re filming something, I think most people would opt for the 60 FPS option.
The publisher also revealed the minimum and recommended PC specs in a Twitter thread. Recommended specs are GeForce RTX 2070 with at least 16 GB RAM.
Dead Space Remake for PS5 has a release date of January 27, 2023. It was recently revealed that the game has almost decided to remove the pause button, and John Carpenter has released a Dead Space movie, but he won’t direct it.
