It’s been a bit complicated since I last checked, so hopefully I’ve got this right.Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion Year 5 Season 1 Broken Wings Descent Mode is coming in early June. If you play Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion on PC tomorrow, you’ll get an early look at Descent Mode (Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion Year 5 Season 1 Broken Wings).
Descent Mode will go live on the Public Test Server for PC players on April 21st. For clarity, this is a public test server for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 Warlords of New.
I’m not exactly sure what’s going on with The Division 2 these days, but Descent Mode actually sounds kind of cool. This is a free roguelite mode that can be played solo or co-op with up to 4 players. Oddly enough, there is no loot.
Technically, there is no combat, no enemies, nothing. In the game’s fiction, Descent is a simulation used to train his Division agents. Start with no gear, perks, or specializations, fight waves of simulated enemies, complete simulated levels, and gain power-ups like those normally found in The Division 2 gear. Since this is a simulation, you can try new builds of your character every time you play. It’s like a speedrun of the main game without being tied to a particular build or playstyle (or how long it takes to build a character). You can also compare your score with other players on the global leaderboard.
PC players can try it out by joining The Division 2 Public Test Server tomorrow.of Roadmap (opens in new tab) The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion Year 5 and more were also revealed today.
