Not surprisingly, we started making games to prove it!That game is called On the shoulders of giantsIn a piggyback sci-fi roguelike game, players control a sword-wielding robot and a gunman space frog at the same time and work together to save the galaxy.

When it comes to gameplay On the shoulders of giants It’s basically a game we always wanted to play, but we couldn’t find it anywhere else. Exploring, growing and being overwhelmed by glory with randomized levels of endless vehicles, it’s all about the rapid burst of roguelike joy.
Combat is a thrilling combination of melee weapons such as laser swords and crazy hammers and ranged combat with pistols and rifles. Always find new loot to upgrade your skills and switch loadouts to keep things fresh. Some of the upgrades are pretty wild: expect futuristic trash cans that can be summoned and ridden like grappling hooks, speed bursts, glowing grenades, surfboards, cross your enemies and forget your enemies A big magic laser hand slamming into, and much more! Each new pickup can radically change your power and playstyle. Combine abilities to create your own move set!
Of course, you couldn’t make a game about your best friend in a wild adventure to defeat the evil forces without adding co-op, right?You can play and enjoy it enough On the shoulders of giants In Solo, we decided very early on to include various coop modes in our game. In one mode, you can play up to 4 players online. Personally, I don’t think it’s more fun than competing for levels, loot, and fighting giant bosses with your friends!
There is also another mode of cooperation that we are very proud of. In “Best Friend Mode”, you team up with your friends, each controlling either a frog or a robot. So, in effect, you both share control of one player character, which should create the ultimate co-op challenge and a pretty hilarious encounter. In our internal playtest, “best friend mode” makes us laugh on a regular basis, but it’s also a true test of friendship in more difficult encounters.
