Hit PS4 Action Adventure Game Under $5 on PS Store, DLC Included

The PS Store‘s Autumn Adventures sales event rolls on, as tons of PS4 and PS5 games are available to purchase at some ridiculously low prices. That includes this critically acclaimed action-adventure game that received game of the year nods when it released in 2019.

Developed by Remedy Entertainment, Control: Ultimate Edition is currently 90% off on the PS Store. That brings its usual $39.99 price tag down to just $3.99. PS4 and PS5 players who want to take advantage of this deal have a little under two weeks to make up their mind. The offer ends on September 25 at 2:59 a.m. ET.

“A corruptive presence has invaded the Federal Bureau of Control…,” reads the PS Store’s description of the game. “Only you have the power to stop it. The world is now your weapon in an epic fight to annihilate an ominous enemy through deep and unpredictable environments. Containment has failed, humanity is at stake. Will you regain control?”

It should be noted that Control: Ultimate Edition includes the main game, as well as its two expansions, The Foundation and AWE, the latter of which connects to Remedy’s most recent game, Alan Wake 2. Anyone who has ever been interested in checking out the award-winning game, but has yet to do so, will have every piece of content available for the game if they decide to dish out $3.99.

When Control was released for PS4 back in 2019, it received favorable reviews. According to the review aggregate site Metacritic, it garnered an average review score of 82 across 63 critic reviews. In our review, we gave it a 7 out of 10.
