Xbox announces a series of series Ninja turtle themed wireless controller To celebrate the upcoming release of the animated movie Teenage Mutant Ninja: Mutant Mayhem. Each controller comes with a special scent to get you in the mood for the movies, but we think you might get some weird looks when you pull out your Xbox controller in the theater.
These controllers are designed with a pizza-shaped scent diffuser that attaches to the top of the gamepad, giving the controllers a delightful scent of “a delicious slice of New York,” as described in the press release.
The controller has four different colors, each representing one of its siblings. Personally, I love anything with Michelangelo’s oranges. The exact duration of the scent isn’t mentioned, but if you’ve had pizza in your room, you’ll know that the scent tends to linger for a while.
But if this controller smells like pepperoni, ice cream, mushrooms, anchovies, peanut butter, jelly beans (of Mikey), All-time favorite pizza), then you’ll want to throw it out the window. I don’t live in a sewer where a bad smell needs to be masked by another.

If you live in the New York City area like I do, you can check out and smell these controllers at the Xbox Gaming Lounge in the Microsoft Experience Center on August 2nd.
It’s not the first company to add scent diffusers to PC gaming hardware. Aroma Shooter has created a device that allows you to smell anime, so mankind clearly continues unhindered down this dark and smelly road towards olfactory doom.
