Night Witch, a fun and frantic mashup of last year’s bullet hell action and Metroidvania exploration, has received an all-new update on Switch. on that blog.
Super Awesome Hyper Dimensional Mega Team’s fast-paced action game is, in our own words, “a bit of a mix of things” and a fresh take on the Metroidvania genre. However, the review noted some technical issues, including softlocks.

– Fixed crash when changing language.
– Fixed a crash when interacting with NPCs after changing language.
– Fixed FPS drops when controller is disconnected on loading screens.
– Fixed game hardlock when disconnecting controller in control menu.
– Fixed issues with binding spells or action/talk buttons to L3 and/or R3.
– Fixed missing controller remapping feature.
– Fixed a bug where players ignored collisions and got stuck in the walls of the Giga Tree.
– Fixed a bug that allowed players to leave the boundaries of Hextinction battles.
– Fixed bug where Rayne spawned with incomplete animation after death.
– Fixed occasional black screen during the ambush banner.
– Fixed a bug that freezes weapon durability counters.
– Fixed a bug where the “Laser Gun” spell would not fire when aimed at an open door.
– Fixed spawning circle not centered on spawning area.
– Fixed issue with interacting with beacons after using a timer spell.
– Fixed a bug where Forge Popcorn would not explode when using the ‘Ray of Death’ spell.
– Fixed an issue where collision was not implemented correctly on Giga Tree door assets.
– Fixed turret not colliding with player in Giga Tree.
– Fixed a bug that prevented players from switching options while changing languages.
– Fixed overlapping warning text when trying to purchase an item in the shop without the proper number of shards.
-Fixed a bug where the character name and avatar did not match during conversation.
– Fixed some localization typos and mistranslations.
