Steel City Interactive and Plaion have recently launched Undisputed Championship Edition, coinciding with a new major update. Available on PS5 right now, this brings a slew of new features to the multiplayer boxing game.
What is the new Undisputed update?
The 2.0 update for Undisputed adds several new features, as well as new content. This includes crossplay, allowing players to fight against each other regardless of platform. Players can also bring their created boxers to online matches, but will have a stat cap of 85 to maintain balanced gameplay and prevent overpowered characters.
Undisputed also received new DLC in the form of The Senator Pack, which prominently features famed boxer Manny Pacquiao. It also brings Edgar Berlanga, Sergey Kovalev, Vinny Paz, Egidijus “Mean Machine” Kavaliauskas, Evgeny Gradovich, and Ricardo Mayorga to the roster. It is available on the PS Store at a 20% discount for PS Plus subscribers, bringing its price to $11.99. Otherwise, it costs $14.99.

NEW FEATURES
- Crossplay: players can now choose to play against users on other platforms. This means you can now rule the ring with your friends on different platforms!
- Character Creator Online: you can now take your created fighter into the online ring! To keep gameplay balanced and prevent overpowered characters, each Character Creator fighter has a stat cap of 85, as well as a tier trait reduction.

GENERAL UPDATES
- Added Terence Crawford to Middleweight with a new hairstyle, overall rating 90
- Players can now export their career character out of career and use them in other areas of the game
- Recovery cutscene skip can now be triggered by one player in online fights. Pressing the skip button will now trigger a 5 second timer before the game continues into the next round

BUG FIXING
- Fixed an issue where users can trigger poor sportsmanship
- Fixed an issue where ranked data was shown in ‘Online Quick Fights’

- Fixed an issue with Emanuel Augustus left uppercut not being blockable
