Well-known leaker Tom Henderson, sources say, will release the new Need for Speed on November 4, 2022. EA has been quiet about the title so far, but previous rumors have stated that the game combines photorealism with the aesthetics of anime. Unfortunately, nothing is said about whether or not the wife is included, but if so, a car harem racing romance simulation action is required.
Henderson further said that one of the game’s most notable features would be Meetup. Players can meet on the map and start racing with each other right away. He also said the name he heard in the game was “Need for Speed: Unbound”, but I’m not sure if it will be the final title.
We don’t know on which platform the new Need for Speed will be released, but there are rumors that it’s a game for the current generation only. Fortunately, fans are told that if they don’t have a PS5 yet, they will need to track it between now and November.
Opinion: Need for Speed can still fill the niche
Jason writes: On the PlayStation, Gran Turismo 7 and Assetto Corsa are great for racing sim fans, but they’re a very focused experience. However, there are times when it’s better to play something a little more arcade instead of playing the car tracer. Need for Speed is great because you can grab the steering wheel of an iconic licensed car and go to fast-paced romps without worrying too much about racing lines or cornering.
