Some things, like the “change bubble,” sound better on paper than they actually do. Changing colors once a second is non-addictive difficulty for me. Frankly, unlocking the hard and extreme difficulty of this mode is beyond my current imagination. However, it’s worth noting that the load times are pretty fast and there’s a handy option to sort the scores to show only your friends’ scores.
To the next mode “Vs.”. Provides what you would normally expect. The most notable thing here is the built-in online play. This is a good feature for competitive players who don’t have local friends to play with. The online experience runs smoothly overall, and I’ve never had a problem finding an opponent. However, there doesn’t seem to be an option to choose your opponent’s skill level, so it’s unclear what kind of players you’ll encounter. Personally, I don’t think many people actively seek out this mode, but it serves its purpose well.
Every bubble!
