Suda 51 and Grasshopper have announced the release of a remastered version of 2011’s Shadows of the Damned.
The creative reveal trailer begins with Grasshopper Manufacture’s community manager celebrating Shadow of the Damned’s first anniversary. But before they can finish saying it, Garcia Hotspur (the game’s protagonist) shoots the office and shoots them dead through a window. This is followed by a montage in which Hotspur shoots and kills demons while riding a sick wheelie. By the end of the trailer, Grasshopper Manufacture has revealed on its official website that it will have a direct show on June 14th and 15th. YouTube channel.
Shadows of the Damned was first released in 2011 during the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era. The game tells the story of Garcia Hotspur, a demon hunter who was sent to the City of the Damned and forced to fight hordes of demons to save his loved ones.
Shadows of the Damned received positive reviews when it was first released in 2011. In our review he gave the game an 8.5 and Tom McShea wrote: “Shadows of the Damned takes him like 10 hours the first time you play, and less than a second. One of that time is spent on boring activities. It’s a constant forward, constant It’s a well-crafted adventure with a sense of speed.”
