The 2022 Black Friday sale on Microsoft’s Xbox store is still in full swing, but there’s no stopping another pile of games taking off on Xbox consoles and PCs. Here are some deals the TA News team thinks are worth it:

The Xbox Store’s massive Black Friday 2022 sale continues to be strong, offering discounts on nearly 1,000 games across Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC. That didn’t stop the company from slashing prices on a number of other titles in Xbox sales this week, with the TA News team searching everything to bring you the best selections, as they try to do each week. Did.

Join an adventure filled with magnificent creatures from times past, veggies with less-than-honest intentions, and mythical beasts that have summoned demonic forces to bring chaos to the world. If you do succumb to the power of beings, use the big hole in the ground to actually clean them all out — a video game. They don’t have to make sense!

A bargain from the latest Xbox sales

Heidi — Jurassic World Evolution – Deluxe Content

Okay, so there wasn’t much in this sale, but I saw all the Jurassic World Evolution nuggets in the DLC section: Deluxe Content, Carnivorous Dinosaur Pack, Cretaceous Dinosaur Pack, Herbivore Dinosaur packs, and the Raptor Squad skin collection. If you love the game and, like me, want to point your claws at as many dinosaurs as possible, the Deluxe Content Pack is your best bet to pack even more toothy horror into your park. 50% off all Jurassic World Evolution DLC. The deluxe content is a hefty 65% off, offering 5 dinosaurs compared to the 3 offered by most other DLC packs. Stellacosaurus, Crichtonsaurus, Majungasaurus, Suchomimus, and my favourite, Archaeornithomimus, are good choices to flesh out your park with a wide variety of dinosaurs. We don’t know, but with Jurassic World Evolution’s deluxe content at the lowest price we’ve seen yet, this could be a good time to pounce.

Luke

Luke — Turnip boy commits tax evasion

Yes, I know it’s on Game Pass. And yes, I know I can blow up the game and unlock the achievement of every turnip boy committing tax evasion in a matter of hours. Can you play as a troublemaker in ? Not enough, but you should throw some money into developer Snoozy Kazoo so you can get more adventures out of this little scam. It’s already underway — Turnip Boy Robbing a Bank was announced earlier this year and is set to hit Game Pass on day one — but I want more…more! It’s about the irresistible naughty little vegetables, and while it’s short, it manages to pack a lot of fun (and silly) stuff into a short run. Combat is pretty simple, exploration leads to all sorts of weird new places populated by crazy characters, and a few light puzzle elements are thrown into the mix to spice things up. is totally funny, always funny, and often hilarious too. So we encourage you to pick up this indie whimsy (if you haven’t already, go viral on Game Pass). Basis for new game icons. And hey, you might as well give your money to the turnip boy anyway before some little rogue takes it from you and rips it up right in front of you…

Let’s play as a cute and troublesome cub. Embark on a journey to avoid paying taxes, solve plant puzzles, battle giant beasts and overthrow the corrupt plant government!

Sean

Sean — Donut County

Xbox sales have always been a bit lackluster following their big Black Friday sales, but that doesn’t mean they’re delivering decent games. My pick for this week is lovely Donut County. It’s included in Xbox Game Pass, so some of you may have already played it. Donut County is a simple puzzle game. The player becomes a raccoon and manages a mysterious hole in the ground. It’s your job to manipulate the hole and drop objects into it. The hole gets bigger and bigger with each object, swallowing cars and buildings. Think of it like a vs katamari game. Accompanying this simplistic gameplay premise are some humorous passages that keep you laughing throughout the game’s short runtime. It only takes a few hours to complete here, but it might take a little longer if you want to enjoy the game at a more casual pace. All achievements can be easily unlocked with pointers from the guide. Donut County is 70% off this week. If you’re not a Game Pass subscriber or just want to own a decent little puzzle game, it’s worth getting.

Donut County is a story-based physics puzzle game where you play as a growing hole in the ground. Meet cute characters, steal trash and throw it into the hole.

The PC version of this game does not support Xbox Live

Tom

Tom — Shadow Warrior 3

Behind Evil West’s review, we decided to praise Flying Wild Hog’s action-packed Shadow Warrior 3. If you don’t know about the series, all you need to know is that it’s filled with great first-person action sequences, even more extreme toilet talk, and a storyline where only main character Low Wang makes sense. And a pretty killer soundtrack to wrap it up nicely. You can check out our impressions of Shadow Warrior 3 earlier this year, but it’s honestly a more experienced game than described. Check out that trailer! It’s now cut 50% off the price, making it a great price for about 10 hours of chaotic fun.

Shadow Warrior 3 seamlessly blends fast-paced firefights, razor-sharp melee combat, and a spectacular free-running movement system to take the quirky first-person shooter series to the next level.
