It’s that time of the week again to peruse Xbox sales and find a selection of games that seem worth your time. Various titles on 360, and PC are offered at discounted prices.

Heidi — Mutazione
I actually wished this was coming out sooner so I could pick it for my sales pick. Released, but apparently late to the party). I remember watching the gameplay video before I got it and thinking, “Do I like this?” It looks like they are just walking around and talking to people.And to be fair, a lot of what you do is teeth Great to walk around and talk to people.
Mutazione describes itself as a “mutant soap opera”. If so, I obviously need to watch more soap operas. I was completely engrossed in the story and definitely had a few “Oh dang!” Please put the controller down and let me handle it,” the moment the story suddenly develops. We play as Kai, who comes to stay at his sick grandfather’s house. Mutazione is made up of a small and very close-knit community — a post-apocalyptic meteorite impact and the strange mutations it caused in its survivors left the town isolated from the rest of the world. In short, the communities of Mutazione had to depend on each other. Despite this intimacy, beneath the town’s friendly exterior lurks secrets, mysteries, tragedies, and resentments. welcomes Kai and learns more about the residents by participating in everything from band performances to private discussions. Mutazione brilliantly explores themes of grief and love, and the game has a heartwarming, half melancholy side. The dialogue and pacing of the story is one of the reasons why it’s so much fun to “just walk around and talk to people” in Mutazione (as an unrelated side note, the sound effects of each character’s dialogue can be found in his ASMR video somewhere should work reliably). I feel like I am immersed in the story of this small town. The characters are compelling and the game allows you to progress without losing its mysterious atmosphere.
Checking in with all the characters and learning about them is an essential part of the game. Another is the garden. We collect seeds throughout the game and plant them in the garden. Each garden has a theme and different species add to different themes. Sing a growth song to that theme and watch the plants grow before your very eyes. Each plant has its own music that adds to the collective song, ultimately resulting in an unforgettable, reverberating musical garden. You can lose a lot of time just listening to each song you create.The world of Mutazione is beautiful and full of immersive ambient sounds. It’s not an action-packed game and there isn’t much to do technically, but living in Mutazione feels like a beautiful, calming, depressing experience unlike any other I’ve played this year – me I racked my brain about this game for a while, I know I can’t keep much of the article to myself, so I’ll just say that it’s possible to finish the game very quickly, even if it’s fun to play the game again. I will leave it. If you only plan on doing one playthrough and would prefer a longer game, be careful.
Mutazion
A mutant soap opera where small-town gossip meets the supernatural. Join Kai, who has arrived in the mysterious community of Mutazione, to take care of his ailing grandfather. Discover scenic hangouts, enchanted gardens, new friends, old secrets…can they survive the apocalyptic meteor strike, but can they survive the small town drama? ?
Luke — Hand of Destiny 2
Having loved the original a bit, I was always going to fall in love with all things Hand of Fate 2, given how many improvements the sequel would bring. The fantasy game takes the form of a tabletop adventure, exploring maps made up of unique locations and event cards. Certain cards offer permanent rewards upon successful resolution. Usually new equipment or the ability to incorporate that card into your deck and add it to your next adventure’s random encounter pool. Anything that offers respite from more difficult events, which is great, has powerful perks to help keep your next outing on track. This board game-like format gives way to action-packed combat once combat begins. It’s much smoother than the somewhat janky combat of the original game, with some fantasy trickery like a simpler version of the free-flowing Batman Arkham melee system. Raise your arms instead of gadgets.
Putting this all together, along with a variety of chance- and skill-based mini-games that can dictate the course of the action, the game master, the enigmatic dealer, returns with another captivating performance to bring the action to life. and mourn you. A fault with a lot of supportive eloquence and withered language. Given how much progress this sequel has made compared to the first game in almost every respect, we’re not seeing a third Hand of Fate as developer Defiant Development canceled all new projects in 2019. Cheers to a team that was just about to move forward by getting this one of its best creations at the lowest ever price on Xbox at 70% off.

Sean — Farr: Lone Sails
If you’re all about Game Pass, you might have played the excellent side-scrolling adventure game Far: Changing Tides. If you’re looking for more of the same, we recommend picking up its big brother, Far:. Lone Sails is only $7.49/£6.24/€7.49 this week. In Far: Lone Sails, you pilot a gigantic, rickety land ship across desolate landscapes. It’s your job to check the ship’s engine while ensuring it has enough speed and momentum to propel you through the game’s bleak world. It’s a delicate balancing act. You’ll need to keep your engine fueled constantly to generate steam to gain speed and climb steep hills, but you’ll also need to be aware of how much steam you’ve accumulated. Stuck nowhere. Ongoing resource management and managing the ship’s various systems is a bit tedious, but very enjoyable, especially when you get into the rhythm. I needed to make progress. However, you can’t get too comfortable or too flowy in this game. Along the way, various obstacles will block your way. It’s up to you to leave your comfort vehicle and solve your problems. These puzzle-platform sections break up all of that resource management and offer some respite. There is another achievement that needs to be polished up a bit.
FAR: Lonely Sail

Tom — Monster Jam Steel Titans
I’m sure you’ve picked Monster Jam Steel Titans before, but it definitely deserves a second mention. Get the chance to get behind the wheel of many of Monster Jam’s most popular teams, including Grave Digger, El Toro Loco, and Max-D. Start with a basic training track, but quickly start building your collection of tracks as you compete in numerous arenas in time-based, demolition, and skill modes, and compete against other drivers in races and cross-country battles . Each track can be upgraded with buffs to stats to improve your performance on and off the track, unlocking numerous color variations. It’s based on competing in world finals, but there’s a quickplay menu that gives you the chance to play and gain experience in each mode. hides collectible items. The open world portion of this game adds over the more forced areas of Steel Titans 2 which I personally prefer. It’s pretty much all about doing great tricks here, and that’s what got me into real-world sports in the first place.The Xbox store offers this game at a 60% discount. This is a great opportunity to jump in and try it for yourself. It can be a bit arduous at times, but it’s not an overly difficult completion, but I found myself enjoying the whole journey of collecting the achievements of Monster Jam Steel Titans.
