Division Resurgence is a new mobile game based on The Division’s world coming soon on iOS and Android devices. Like its console and PC counterparts, it will be a collaborative third-person shooter RPG with another story standard in the larger universe.
In addition to new stories, mobile games also include different classes, new gear and weapons, and new characters. The resurrection will take place in New York City, and according to a press release, the player will take on the role of a first-wave agent, providing a “unique perspective on the key story events that took place in Division and Division 2.” The original division will take place in Manhattan and the sequel will take place in Washington, DC.
Ubisoft calls the game an open world, stating that players are free to roam the urban environment and have both story missions and world activities completed by cooperating agents. According to Ubisoft, the game can also be played alone.
