The Witcher Remake will be an open-world RPG
CD Projekt has confirmed that The Witcher Remake, codenamed Canis Majoris, will be “a story-driven, single-player open-world RPG that is a modern reimagining of 2007’s The Witcher.” The Witcher Remake was just announced last month and we know it will be built from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5. It looks like it’s still in very early stages. But it’s nice to at least have confirmation that The Witcher Remake will be an open world game.
Quite a few new Witcher games are on the way, but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hasn’t been ruled out either. That Xbox Series X|S upgrade is arriving in just a few weeks. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition tops our list of the best Xbox open world games and we can’t wait to dive in again.
