He chose, paid his life, and forever influenced the fate of his family for generations. He returned to the series during the Great Ninja War and was reanimated to fight alongside the other Hokage. His time back in the world was fleeting, but Minato celebrates Naruto’s 17th birthday and bids him a final farewell just before returning to the afterlife in one of the series’ most emotional moments. Fan-favorite character Minato Namikaze (AKA Fourth Hokage) is back in the game — and comes to life! After making the ultimate sacrifice, this reanimated version of Minato stands out from the pack with a unique have the skills. Minato Namikaze is a playable character introduced in Season Pass 1, her type of attack class that can freely manipulate distance and actively participate in close quarters combat.
In Season Pass 6, Minato Namikaze (Reanimated) is a defensive class type, but more balanced than expected. He is adept at supporting his team, as he did when he saved the Ninja Alliance in the Great Ninja War. Like its Season Pass 1 counterpart, Minato Namikaze (Reanimated) is able to use his Flying His Raijin His Jutsu, allowing him to cover a wide range from long distances. He’s good at everything from high mobility to taking on groups of enemies to defending allies. His versatility makes him an asset to any team.
In addition, each ninjutsu has evolved into “Kurama Link Mode”. Activate this technique to enhance Speed, Attack Power, Ninjutsu Recovery, and Recovery (Bonus: Allies within range of Kurama Link mode also share some of these enhancements). Don’t forget to use your special move before this mode expires.
Despite his flexibility and many strengths, Minato Namikaze (Reanimated) can struggle in some areas. To compensate for these shortcomings, master his powerful ninjutsu and show off the power of the Fourth Hokage, once known as the “Yellow Flash of Leaf” on the battlefield!

Ninjutsu 1: Tenku Zan Zero Shiki
A super-fast surprise attack that applies Flying Thunder Shinjutsu, throwing multiple kunai to unleash slashes around the enemy.
Tips: This attack has a wide area effect and can involve a large number of enemies. The true value of this ninjutsu is demonstrated when fighting enemies in close combat. When you’re cornered or pressured by close attackers, unleash Tenkuzan Zero Shiki to turn the tide!
Ninjutsu 2 Flying Raijin Guiding Thunder
A ninjutsu that nullifies the enemy’s ranged attacks. This technique places a Space-Time Ninjutsu ward in the area where it is activated, neutralizing most enemy projectile attacks within its range.
Tips: By placing them around important objects such as scrolls, flags, and pillars, this ninjutsu provides strong support and an extra layer of defense for your team. This is especially effective for long range class types. Perform a counterattack against an enemy that gets too close.
Mystery: Flying Raijin Space-Time Gale Flash Lotus Stage Zero
A series of extremely powerful attacks that combine Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and Flying Raijin no Jutsu. Minato throws a wave of kunai and becomes a devastating finisher on contact!
Tips: This technique comes up quickly and can launch a surprise attack from a distance, so don’t miss the timing of the decisive battle!
Update – Hidden Rain Village (Renovated)
Hidden Rain Village has been refurbished in time for Season Pass 6! Previously, this map had two different layouts. Half the map was covered with skyscrapers and winding corridors, the other half was a wide open flooded arena. The new map now has buildings taking up more surface area, making clearings harder to find, and some big changes. This makes traversal and combat more intense as your opponents can be in every corner (or above you)!
Another notable addition to Hidden Village (Renovated) is a new pipe system that runs almost the entire circumference of the map. You can use these pipes to roam the environment if you want to avoid going through clusters of buildings and reduce the chances of a surprise ambush. Neither you nor your opponent have much of a height advantage, so it’s useful for straight-up combat.
Perhaps the biggest change to Hidden Rain Village (Renovated) is the new teleportation devices scattered throughout the environment. Blue devices lead vertically to rooftops or down roads and flooded corridors. Conversely, yellow devices are designed for lateral movement, moving to the corresponding yellow device. Use teleportation to quickly cover long distances, surprise enemies, or flee from them.
These new changes to Hidden Rain Village (Renovated) will undoubtedly make the match even more thrilling with more movement and strategy possibilities!
