Hi guys! I’m Martin, developer of an all-new indie action RPG. park story. We are so excited (and a little nervous!) to announce that the game is now available on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Also available for Windows.
park story It’s inspired by action-RPG classics, but tells a new, modern, and bizarre story about Parker. After chatting with the stray cat Domino, they realize they have forgotten everything about their lives before the crash.
That’s where our adventure begins, with Parker desperately trying to find a way back to the life they began to remember. The demonic Raven, Kaim, rules the park and isn’t very welcoming to new visitors. With six generals, Kaim sets out to stop Parker from escaping and helping stranded animals and ghosts.
started to work park story Almost 5 years ago. I fell down the internet rabbit hole examining the scale of the world of famous video games and real-world locations. I ended up comparing some to some local country parks (large Scottish parks with some family attractions like zoos and museums) and that gave me the idea. A large world action RPG set in a rural park.that is park story.
What was supposed to be a six-month project turned out to be quite difficult to make a video game. I know who you are! ?
Over the past five years, I’ve been building this whole little world for Parker and players to explore. This is really exciting. The Overworld has 15 different areas, each with its own theme and full of hidden secrets. Discover caves with ability upgrades and different paths around the park, leading to special battle challenges.
Each dungeon in the game is handcrafted. There is nothing procedural in the game. Instead, every dungeon has its own unique puzzles that follow its theme. However, no dungeon is complete without a final boss. That’s where General Kaim comes in. These six presumably humans of his were sent to destroy Parker. Each brings its own challenges.
Stories are a big part of building blocks park story. Parkers have their own problems, but the park’s animals will help them overcome Kaim, banish evil, and restore order. The devil doesn’t take kindly to little humans who try to interfere. Parker finds out.
The push and pull of Parker’s old life, the animals in the park, and Kaim’s danger never stop.
