Wanderer Fragment of Fate This is one of the late PlayStation VR games and will also be upgraded to PSVR2. Developer Mighty Eyes explained that it’s not just a resolution boost, showing how much the game has been reworked to fit the new hardware.

As detailed in playstation blog, The most immediately noticeable improvement in Wanderer is the visuals. The NPCs and lighting system have been completely overhauled and can be seen in the video above comparing the PSVR and PSVR2 versions. The main character has also been reworked, allowing the player to see the full body instead of floating limbs. Mighty Eyes also claimed that he created AI as a “state of the art player avatar system” that makes players more convincingly animated. The character was also created using Epic Games’ MetaHumans system. According to Epic, the system is “a complete framework empowering any creator to create, animate, and use highly realistic human characters in any way imaginable.”
Mighty Eyes has streamlined and added gameplay. More accurate physics means items move more realistically. The combat system has been redesigned around a collection of new weapons and enemies, which the team claims will give players more freedom. And since platforming is now physics-driven and more interactive, levels have been redesigned to embrace this newfound mobility and once again offer more freedom. He also has three new levels.
Finally, travel between periods has also been changed to provide a more permanent “seamless experience when a player leaves an ‘era’ (world) and comes back”, i.e. “things are exactly as they were when they left”. It is now possible. Samuel, the original version of the talking clock, adds a new user interface, storage his system, and additional features for players to find lost items, the latter of which was a criticism in the original version.
Wanderer: The Fragments of Fate is still slated for PSVR2 sometime in 2024, with a more exact release date unknown. It’s also unclear what the upgrade path (if any) will be for owners of PS4 titles. Wanderer is one of his last big titles for the original PSVR, released in January 2022. This time-travel-themed VR game received solid reviews, with an average score of 4. #85 on OpenCritic.
