“The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears” is a large-scale project for Nintendo, and the company is calling on multiple development teams to cooperate. As you may remember, one of these developers was the Xenoblade team’s Monolith his soft.

Now that Tears of the Kingdom is out, the Japanese company has officially updated its website to list the new Switch exclusives. This follows on from Xenoblade Chronicles 3’s “Final DLC” which was released last month. splatoon 3.

According to a rough Google translation, official tweetMonolith Soft helped with the following parts of Tears of the Kingdom:

“The Legend of Zelda: Kingdom of Tears”, which Monolith Soft worked on for game design, programming, and graphics development, was released by Nintendo Co., Ltd.

Monolith Soft had previously announced a “massive” corporate expansion for 2021, with a number of new roles at the time, alluding to the latest installment of the Zelda series. In a headcount update earlier this year, the company revealed it was hiring more than 260 of him.

During the Switch’s lifecycle, Monolith Soft has also contributed to projects such as Animal Crossing, Splatoon 2, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
