Fans will see new job ads published by PlayStation Studios PS Vita and PS3 emulator once again. As ResetEra Uzupedro discovered, Sony is hiring a software development engineer. This engineer is especially responsible for developing new emulators, especially as a “classic engineer”. PS3 emulation is a dream, but never say it!
Fans have long wanted a suitable PS3 emulator
Over the years, we’ve heard many reports that Sony is officially introducing PS3 emulation to the PS5. The general consensus is that the PS3 architecture is the responsibility that is holding back the company. However, while much of the gaming community claims that PS3 emulation on the PS5 is certainly possible, Sony probably doesn’t want to invest time and resources. Some even suggest that you should hire the RPCS3 developer, the team behind the popular unofficial multi-platform, open source PS3 emulator.
“Our software development engineer position works on the PlayStation Studios tools and technology team to support the newly redesigned classics for PS4 and PS5.” Job Description.. “Classic games run through emulation on the legacy PlayStation platform. Classics engineers work closely with other engineers, producers, and groups of QA teams to fix bugs, add new features, and new emulators. We will develop. “
It’s clear that the job description mentioned above mentions the PS Plus Premium classic, but it still doesn’t disappoint fans.
As another note, it’s encouraging to see Sony wanting to bring in people who are devoted to the PS Plus Premium Classic, as Sony has made a fairly rocky launch.
In other news, there are new PS5 and PS4 games released this week, and we’ve found a workaround that makes the PS Plus Extra / Premium DLC appear to be locked on some players.
