Mad Max: Fury Road
It’s incredible Mad Max: Fury Road It exists at all, the period. The third sequel to the franchise, which has almost evaporated from public awareness, was filmed for 138 days under the harsh heat of the Namib Desert and premiered in theaters about 30 years after the previous article. Mad Max: Fury Road Against the odds in every way, it secured its position not only as one of George Miller’s best films of all, but also as one of the most famous action films of the 2010s. Tom Hardy takes on the role of the concise road warrior Max Rockatansky and offers great service, but the real star of the movie is the cruel abilities of the Furiosa battalion played by Charlize Theron. Except for large vehicle tracking scenes and explosive set pieces, the pure sight of the movie is absolutely daunting. “I don’t understand that they haven’t filmed the movie yet and that hundreds of people haven’t died,” says Steven Soderbergh. —Toussaint Egan
Mad Max: Fury Road You can stream with HBO Max.
Land of the dead
Like George A. Romero’s early zombie movies Zombie night When Dawn of the Dead The horror master is best known Land of the dead An underrated entry into the franchise. Set in the feudal Pittsburgh of the Post-Zombie Apocalypse (dominated by the delicious and cold-blooded Dennis Hopper), the zombies are now organizing and preparing an attack on the city. Wealthy residents of Pittsburgh live in luxurious apartment buildings, lucky enough for everyone else to be inside the walls of the city, and forced to live in poverty on the streets. Like many other Romero movies, Land of the dead Through the distance of the fictional world, we are effectively working on complex themes, reflecting the problems of our current world. — —Pete Volk

Mothra vs. Godzilla
The fourth Godzilla franchise (and the second Mothra franchise) is one of the best original movies of the Showa era and the last movie in which Godzilla played a villain.directed by Godzilla When Mothra Directed by Inoshiro Honda, this is an outstanding entry into a great monster movie, between a great score, a powerful theme element to play in corporate greed and a nuclear test, and of course two of the greatest movie monsters ever. It’s a symbolic battle. The 88 minute run time is worth the investment for anyone interested in monsters. — —PV

The batting average of the Scream series is extremely high, so it’s no wonder that the fourth entry is great. Chucky’s bride
Two dolls go on a murderous road trip with two unconscious teenagers. They blame each other when their bodies begin to fall.
The first three films in the Child’s Play series follow a boy named Andy. Wherever you go, whether it’s a foster parent or a military school, you’ll find Chucky dolls of murder owned by the soul of the dead serial killer Charles Lee Ray.
The first movie, Play houseIs a great black comedy, the fourth is Chucky’s bride, Point the series in a completely different direction. Andy has died completely — he hasn’t appeared and has never been mentioned. Instead, the focus is on the dolls: Chucky and Tiffany. Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly, a scene-stealing performance) raised Chucky from her death, and after a deadly debate, Chucky turns her into her doll.
The two dolls go on a sadistic road trip with two ignorant teens (including a young Katherine Heigl) who are cheerful and murderous rampaging. Tilly and Brad Dourif (returning as Chucky’s voice, of course) are fun and twisted duos that make this a fun and enjoyable time. — —PV

Bourne Legacy
Jeremy Renner’s Bourne movie, which has always been unfairly overlooked in the discussion of the series, is actually a worthwhile follow-up to the first trilogy. Renner plays a man named Aaron Cross, a U.S. government agent who watches from inside Jason Bourne’s memory-impaired rampage revealing the entire government conspiracy. The first three Bourne films, which are action films conspired by a government conspiracy, Bourne Legacy With the latter element in the front and center, it turned out to be one of the best spy thrillers released in the last decade. — —AG
Bourne Legacy You can see it in Peacock.
Mappet’s Christmas Carol
The fourth of the Muppets movies, Christmas carol It’s great because it’s close to the annual Twitter prompt “Replace all but one actor with a mappet.” Of course, the actor is Michael Caine, who plays Ebenezer Scrooge with the integrity and strength that Shakespeare’s work deserves. This is a clever balance between his sincere serious performance and the usual noisy Muppets Shenanigan, one of the best Muppets movies (or Christmas Carroll movies) ever made. — —PV
Mappet’s Christmas Carol You can watch it on Disney Plus.
Star Wars Episode 1 — Phantom Menace
Phantom Menace It gets better every day. Star Wars’ fourth film is a very ambitious and movie world-building landmark.rear Return of the JediIt would have been easy to return to the movie’s sickly sweet emotions, safe behavior, small and isolated world, and bland characters over and over again, as Disney has done for almost a decade. Instead, Lucas built his dream space opera, blowing Star Wars to a truly galactic scale and creating a blueprint for modern blockbuster action and excitement. Empire Strikes Back Is the best Star Wars movie, but all that 2022 Star Wars fans want to love most about the series, Phantom Menace.. — —AG

Boyka: Everyone admits
The Undisputed series is one of the most consistent action movie franchises to date, but it’s mostly ignored due to the large number of movies that have direct access to the video. The franchise began with Walter Hill’s 2002 prison boxing drama Indisputable, Starring Ving Rhames and Wesley Snipes. In 2006, direct video master Isaac Florentine took over the franchise and focused on the fast-growing world of mixed martial arts. Michael Jai White was tapped as the main character and confronted his adversary Yuri Boyka (played by Scott Adkins), but something interesting happened. Boyka took over the franchise.
Indisputable II: The last man is standing When Indisputable III: Redemption Both are legally great action movies, but we’ll talk about them here. Boyka: Everyone admits.. Published in 2017 and directed by Florence, the film deals with the fallout of an underground battle where Boyka accidentally killed an opponent. After discovering that his opponent’s wife was borrowing money from the criminal ruler, Boyka decided to fight for the gangster’s club to repay her debt. With a great combat sequence choreographed by great Tim Mann and another great performance by Adkins. Boyka A great 86 minute action movie. — —PV
Boyka: Everyone admits You can watch it on Netflix.
I talked a lot about this movie on this website — it’s on the list of the best thrillers to watch at home, and more recently the best movie added to streaming in July this year — so I myself Stop repeating and just say Day of retaliation Is a hypnotic, bloody genre mashup that takes the long-running sci-fi series in amazing new directions with powerful action horror bends. — —PV

Master Z: Ip Man Legacy
Spent a fair amount of time deciding if the fourth movie in the excellent Ip Man series is from 2019 Ip Man 4: Finale (Obvious) or 2018 Master Z: Ip Man Legacy (Spin-off from Ip Man 3).I decided to go with you Master Z For two reasons: This is literally the fourth movie in the franchise, and as much as I love Scott Adkins (and I really do), I want to end this list with his three consecutive movies. There was not.
This movie follows the character of Max Chan Ip Man 3, A father trying to recover from his defeat by raising his little son in the hands of the previous movie Ip Man. Directed by legendary martial arts choreographer Woo Ping Yuen, co-starred by Dave Bautista, Michelle Yeoh and Tony Jaa. Master Z A valuable addition to Ip Man’s canon and star studded martial arts crime thriller. — —PV
